Inspector-General of Taxation announces terms of references for three new reviews

David Vos, Inspector-General of Taxation, today released Terms of References and Consultation Plans for his inquiries into:

  • The Tax Office’s Administration of Public Binding Advice,
  •  The non-lodgement of income tax returns, and
  • The Tax Office’s settlement of active compliance activities.

Mr Vos said “These reviews were foreshadowed by me some time ago in my forward work program and following consultation with the Tax Office and stakeholders I am now releasing the details of the reviews.”

“I am actively seeking community feedback for these three reviews” said Mr Vos.
